Some time back Vian and I went to Marché for dinner and we tried their rösti with mushrooms. And to be completely honest,
I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since. Just some general information, rösti is a potato-cake originated in Sweden.
It was commonly eaten for breakfast among farmers. Today, it is served in many restaurants across in the Western World.
A plate of rösti at Marché can cost between $6.50-$12, depending on the side dish. And instead of paying that exorbitant amount for
a potato dish, I tried making some for my family this evening. It was so so so so good and filling! Everyone loved it!
All you need would be 4 ingredients (+ sour cream):
Recipe:
This is how mine turned out:
Top your rösti with spring onions, sour cream and a lemon.
Other optional ingredients include, smoked salmon, bacon, cheese, sausages.
